Abstract


The Champault farm in the suburbs of Paris, France, has been adopting Kyusei Nature Farming and EM Technology from the mid 1990's. The first years of EM application were ones of change, and the achievements varied every year. However over the last seasons, much success has been achieved in using EM and Kyusei nature farming to produce good harvests of potatoes using EM. The usual degree of disease incidence usually found in wet temperate regions was not evident and the quality was excellent, as indicated by the buyers. The development of good produce over time on the arm has also led to the opening or a sales outlet for supplying good quality products to consumers. The shop is now popular and consumers appreciate the quality of produce grown with EM. Further supplies very good organic food to the largest wholesale purchaser of food in France.
