Abstract
The use of the technology of EM in large scale livestock operations is expanding at the present time, due to its acceptance by the farming community. This expansion covers all aspects of livestock, including poultry, dairy and beef, swine and aquaculture. The presentation highlights research and development activities that have led to this phenomenon, with examples from the large scale industries.
