Abstract
Studies were conducted in Yugoslavia for over 5 years to test the efficacy
of a product, which is an extract of bioactive material from medicinal
herbs in controlling downy and powdery mildew in vineyards. The level of
control achieved with this compound over 5 years was similar to that obtained
with chemicals. Yields were also similar with no contaminants in the wine.
The potential of using this compound in organic vineyards is presented.
